You need to be good at sales and marketing. And most people who are good at sales and marketing are not that great at SEO. No offense, but they are very very different skill sets. This is why the SEO reseller model is really sensible for many people. If you have good contacts, or better yet, already have customers who buy technology-related products from you, then you can sell them search engine optimization. Web design shops, agencies and PR teams are great for reselling SEO. Why? Because they have complimentary products and industry contacts. This is a huge head-start. Not to say that you can’t build a search engine optimization business from the ground-up. You can. It is just much harder.

Smart business people know what they are really good at and what needs to be outsourced. If you are great at technology, can build a dashboard and pull data via APIs, perhaps you don’t need an SEO reseller program. But if you can market and sell, then you should think about off-loading the delivery work involved with search engine optimization.

If you don’t make many affiliate sales even you have done a good job, probably someone is changing your affiliate ID to their own ID. It could be also their spyware doing it. The point is that you make sales, but someone steals your commissions. The solution to this problem is cloaking your links. Cloaking links means to redirect from your website and hiding your affiliate ID. Cloaking your links will prevent someone from stealing your affiliate commissions. Even if you make many sales you should still cloak your affiliate links, because you might be losing some sales. Affiliate links should be always cloaked. According to some SEO experts, affiliate cloaking is also good for Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
There are many cloaking services online, but most of them can mess up the tracking cookies, and prevent you from getting credit for your sales. You should only use cloaking services that were designed for affiliate marketers. Link shortening services and redirection services like tinyurl and Bit.Ly can also mess up your affiliate links. So, what is the best solution? The best solution is to have a link cloaker on your own site. If you aren’t a programmer you need to find a good cloaking service that will do the job for you. Below there are some links to a free report Cloak and Dagger Affiliate Secrets which will teach everything you need to know about cloaking, and it will also tell you about the best cloaking services.

Internet marketing was born from the need of every website owner or business on the Web, to be able to obtain brand awareness and deliver goods and services to their customers online. It is very difficult to have any success on the Internet unless you make full use of all the methods available to promote your business online.

With the spectacular rise in social media marketing you want to be in the forefront of this emerging technology. It is important in the ever growing online marketplace that you not only work to sell your products or services but that you interact through your website and social media with your customers or clients.

Some even suggest that the social media marketplace will overtake the search engine marketing. There has never been anything that has grown in size as the Internet and online marketing. Most people say it’s not rocket science, however with hundreds of thousand to millions of other web pages competing for every search term and every eyeball you really need to be and Internet scientist.

Remember, you want your website to be found wherever people are searching, and once they find your website to remain there to do business with you. On the Internet the customer or client is only a mouse click away from going somewhere else.

With a brick and mortar business, at least you have a chance to grab people before the leave. In addition, your website must catch the visitor attention so they will at least stay longer and look around further. If users are not attracted to what is on your few frames of text and pictures or video they are gone.
